BRS™
The BRS™ system has been introduced to reduce the point load pressure from stones, branches etc. A ballistic textile in the forefoot disperses this pressure, while still keeping the forefoot flexible for a terrain compliant ride.
How does BRS™ work?
Regular soles pass the pressure almost uncushioned straight through to the foot. Brooks® Ballistic Rock Shield™ has been designed to disperse the energy on to a much larger area, causing the forefoot far less agitation.
